About Us

Mastic Vinyl Siding

Since 1959, Mastic has provided innovative and quality building products to transform a house into a home. Here’s to many more years of beautiful home exteriors.

It started with Mastic, a brand with a long history of quality and innovation. Mastic’s experience with home exterior solutions began in 1932 when they pioneered the low-maintenance siding market with the introduction of InselBric®, an asphalt-based product that was both durable and attractive. Mastic’s innovation continued, with the breakthrough invention of vinyl siding in 1959.

In 1989, Mastic joined the Alcoa family. The two brands, under the umbrella of Alcoa Home Exteriors, delivered the best of both worlds – Mastic’s premium vinyl siding products and Alcoa’s “best in industry” aluminum siding products. Together, an unparalleled offering of premier home exterior products, service and support was created. We are proud that today, one of every four homes with vinyl siding uses Alcoa or Mastic® siding.

In 2009, our name changed to Mastic Home Exteriors – but, rest assured, we’ll continue to deliver the same quality and innovation you’ve come to expect from Mastic and Alcoa Home Exteriors for more than 50 years.

Vinyl siding is versatile because it’s available in so many different colors, shades, and textures, which means it can pretty much suit every design. For those of who love the look of wood, but don’t want to pay wood prices, guess what? You can choose a vinyl texture that looks exactly like wood. Your neighbors won’t be able to tell the difference. Other types of siding are prone to rot, fading or invasion by pests such as termites, but vinyl siding is fade-resistant, scratch-resistant, and holds its color for a long time. The expert installers at Cottage Hill Exteriors ensure your siding is installed tightly, ensuring maximum protection against the severe elements. Vinyl siding that is installed by knowledgeable VSI Certified professionals will last many decades—a gift that keeps on giving.

While new vinyl siding will give your home a facelift that will leave your neighbors green with envy, it’s true value is in dollars and cents.

Energy Savings – Your house will feel cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, which means your AC and furnace will get a break, which translates into savings on your monthly energy bills.

More Affordable – Vinyl siding is less expensive because the material is lighter and easier to configure than other types of siding. It also doesn’t require extensive maintenance, so you can use the money you save to upgrade other areas of your home.

Increases Resale Value – With eye-catching color options, vinyl siding instantly upgrades the appearance of your home, making it the star of the block when it comes time to sell.

We use Timbertex ridgecap shingles, not like some of our competition who installs an architectural roof and uses 3-tab shingles for the ridge.

Seamless Gutters

Cottage Hill Exteriors runs our gutters off on site. We use .032 guage aluminum, attached with screw-in anchors.

We also use 3" x 4" downspouts, which greatly enhance water evacuation in heavy rain. In the event you have tree coverage

requiring gutter protection, we proudly install the Raindrop Gutter Guard System.
